All About Allie -Allie comes from a family of restaurateurs.

Her grandmother and grandfather had an Italian restaurant back in the early 1970's alongside her great uncle and cousins.  They are still operating the best Italian restaurant in the Valley for over 70 years now.  Allie's mom and uncle owned and operated the Youngstown Crab Co. Restaurant & Bar, a premier seafood restaurant in our area for over 20+ years with many accolades for the food and service.  Allie grew up in this setting from the time she was 5 years old when the restaurant opened in 2000.  She "officially" started working there when she was 15 years old.  By her senior year in high school with only 3 months left to graduate, Allie's mom handed her the keys to manage on weekends and the rest is history.  Allie started at YSU, twice, only to find herself back at the restaurant where her true passion lies.  Allie's entire family has only worked in full-service, scratch-kitchen restaurants.  Hot Dog Allie is no different.  We make as much in-house as possible using only quality ingredients with traditional recipes.  NO preservatives, NO artificial flavors and NO artificial colors in our food.  Our chili sauce is ONLY ground-chuck, NO powdered protein fillers and NO ground bologna as part of our "meat" recipe.  This is found to be a standard "cheat" for chili sauce in the industry to make it more economical.  We also use real Wisconsin cheddar cheese, butter and heavy cream to make our cheese sauce.  You will never find powdered cheese or canned cheese on our menu.  The list goes on with other menu items at Hot Dog Allie.  Here is everything we make from scratch with a real chef on staff:  Our unique signature Parmesan Potato Puffs, Steakhouse Baked Beans, Sausage Chili for one of our Signature Hot Dogs, Strawberry Pretzel Parfait including the pretzel crust and creamy filling, Italian hot peppers, Real Buttermilk ranch, honey mustard, bbq sauce and comeback sauce.  When the Youngstown Crab Co. closed due to Covid, the chef of 20 years believed in our family and this new concept and came aboard Hot Dog Allie to prepare all of our these menu items fresh daily just for you.  Try us once and you'll see the difference.  #scratch-kitchen #chef-driven #support-local
