We would like to make a quick introduction to our catering services.

Hot Dog Allie is a scratch-kitchen, quick-style concept born from a family of restauranteurs. We opened the doors to our first location in Austintown, Ohio in November of 2018. Our second location opened last May in Niles, Ohio  just seconds away from the Eastwood Mall on Route 422.

“Thee” Hot Dog Allie is the daughter and only niece of the previous owners of the Youngstown Crab Co. Restaurant & Bar that was located in Liberty Township, OH. and continues to work with her family on this new venture.  

 Why is this important?

The YCC was in operation for 20 years prior to Covid-19 and was a complete scratch-kitchen that earned many accolades over the years for the food quality and superior service. The same chef is now on board with this trendy, new Hot Dog concept. Sally, Hot Dog Allie’s mom was the event coordinator at YCC and continues with that title today ensuring the catering side of the new concept maintains the same level of quality food and service that it has for the last 2 decades. Sally also ran a 750-seat catering center in Boardman, Ohio before the Youngstown Crab Co. opened in May of 2000.

The family has accumulated a vast database of unique recipes over the years (15,000+) and finds it difficult to put together a one size fits all catering menu. “We like to work closely with our clients to create memorable experiences for their special event,” says Sally. “A unique menu doesn’t need to be a costly one, it just needs a little more time to be created by meeting with our clients, finding out a budget and working to see what our customer is envisioning for their special day.”

We have put together our Hot Dog Allie catering menu below that is available for quick pick-up from either location within a 24-48 hour notice.  In addition, we offer some “build your own” buffet and themed menu selections that will require more advance notice.  Finally, please see some of our catering photos that are more extensive for your customized occasions.

In addition, we have the capability of some design services, balloon services, equipment rental and full on-site catering with complete staff.
